3 powerful fans
A new all-metal case houses three powerful axial-technology fans using heavy-duty double-ball fan bearings. Fan rotation has been optimized to reduce turbulence, and a shutdown mode stops all three fans at low temperatures.
Heat sink
Underneath the fan are separate heatsinks for the GPU and memory, which keep the temperature under control. Additional features, including TUF components, Auto-Extreme technology, a new GPU bracket and a rear plate fan, make the TUF an adequate power source. For builders looking for a new "old faithful", this board has it covered.
Axial-Tech fan design updates
TUF Gaming cards take advantage of the Axial-tech fan design. With three fans working together to meet the thermal demands of NVIDIA's new high-octane design. The fans are based on dual ball bearings to ensure consistent performance and longevity compared to sleeve bearings and other types of bearings.
MAXCONTACT heat sink
To effectively draw heat into the heatsink assembly so that the powerful Axial-tech fans can remove it, a manufacturing process is used that improves the surface smoothness of the heatsink at the microscopic level . The added flatness allows for better mold contact, which helps improve heat transfer.
2.7-slot design with dedicated VRAM heatsink
The heatsink pulls heat into heatpipes that transport it through a stack of paddles that take up most of the board's 2.7-slot space. This generation of TUF Gaming graphics cards also features a dedicated VRAM heatsink to maintain temperatures well below maximum operating specs.
TUF components exclusively selected for durability
Components are selected for TUF Gaming graphics cards based on their durability and performance. In addition to first-class chokes and MOSFETs, capacitors that meet military-grade certification make TUF stand out from the competition. Components are soldered to the PCB using our advanced Auto-Extreme automated manufacturing process.
Smooth gaskets on the back of the PCB and the elimination of human error ensure that each graphics card meets our stringent specifications. Finally, to ensure flawless performance when it counts, the cards are put through a grueling 144-hour validation test.
Aluminum housing for added protection
An all-aluminum casing adds robust protection to TUF Gaming graphics cards, and a serious industrial design and greyscale color scheme fits easily into any build.
Improvements at the bottom
The larger surface of the back is wrapped in a protective metal plate that has ample ventilation . Ventilation allows hot air to escape to the chassis exhausts instead of being recycled back to the cooler. Underneath the GPU, a bracket provides constant mounting pressure between the mold and the heatsink. Stainless steel is used for the I/O bracket to protect the holes and provide a more secure mount . A conveniently located Dual Bios switch allows customization of the card's default performance profile without software.
Customizable front lighting
The RGB element at the top can be customized to display a range of aesthetic and functional effects, and can also be synchronized with other ASUS components to enable uniform lighting . To satisfy the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti's power demands, there are two 8-pin connectors along with onboard LEDs that light up if the PSU's PCIe power connectors are not connected properly.
ASUS GPU Tweak III revamped interface
ASUS GPU Tweak III is more intuitive and feature-rich than ever before. A revamped interface offers greater accessibility by integrating basic functions into a centralized instrument panel, and the voltage-frequency tuner has been revised to make overclocking even easier. Additional benefits such as 0dB fan technology, automatic profile switching, a fully customizable on-screen display and logging capabilities ensure you get the most out of your graphics card.
